Taejae is a big house where diverse students live together. For us, the world is a campus.
Through exploring the world and Taejae’s unique dynamic, there are many benefits students gain from Taejae University.

Jiyoo, a Taejae 2025 student, graduated from Geokkuro Campus which is an alternative project-based school. He doesn’t have much international experience but one special experience he offers is that he designed an educational service and ran a program for 615 middle school students. This became the starting point for a new chapter in his life because it eventually led him to launch his own startup company.

“I realize that I consistently grow as a person as time goes by. My personal development usually stems from actual experiences rather than books.” —Jiyoo Lee

Sara Chae, TJ25 student

Sara also graduated from an alternative school where the curriculum involves students participating in an internship for two to four weeks. Drawing from her interests, she sent a letter to Red Slippers which is a performance planning company where students help plan music festivals. She was accepted and during her internship there, she was able to plan out a small project of preparing a performance for the blind. Sara pointed out that the internship was a big challenge as a teen but she did end up learning a lot.
“Through this experience, l learned that I can do anything if I set my mind to it without fear because I’m confident that I can make it.” — Sara Chae

Joy SeA Jeong, TJ25 student
Joy is an aspiring writer. She was homeschooled until she entered Taejae but she learned that what she knows isn’t always what it seems to be. The world is always bigger than she sees it to be, full of possibilities. She has been writing books and freely exploring what she wants. For instance, she was involved in translation volunteering run by the NGO called Compassion. She enjoyed this work and grew a lot while feeling satisfied with being able to help others with her talents. She also emphasized that she wants to stay persistent and grow at Taejae.
